Who is GCC?

Margi is a licensed, board-certified clinical social worker and a certified Aging Life Care Manager who has been working in the field of aging serving clients needs over 40 years.  Margi prides herself in offering a personalized service to each of her clients. She received her Master’s degree in Social Work and a Certificate in Gerontology from the Catholic University of America.

Margi has been working since 1981 in the Washington DC/Maryland area primarily focusing on issues related to loss of independent functioning and the challenges of the aging process, exploring ways of enhancing the quality of life for older adults who she serves.

Margi often provides consultations to adult children and other relatives recognizing the unique and different issues that arise among family members and how it can impact on their relationship with their older adult family member at a later stage of life. 

Margi has worked with clients who have been diagnosed with mild cognitive impairment, different stages of dementia related conditions, and advanced stages, as well as, end of life care issues such as palliative care and hospice home care.
